The chromed button on the end of my handbrake has started to flake and peel off in my hand, leaving a mottled, cheap white plastic look behind it... Has anyone else experienced this?
Minor, I know, but my car doesn't even have 10k on it yet... :(

That should be something covered under your warranty. I'd go see your dealer about it.

Yes! My poor chrome paint is about half flaked off. It makes me sad. I wish the button were made of aluminum.

I just noticed that on my car last week. Less than 12000 miles on mine.:'(

Bugs me... looks cheap. Sounds like a common issue - I imagine Honda figured that nobody bothers to use their handbrakes anyway, sooo.... :(

Mine is also flaky. Somebody should find out if we can get it replaced for free...other than me.

that should most definately be covered under hondas 3/36 bumper-bumper warrenty. That is not something that just 'wears out from use'
