Can I use Dot4? It says only to use Honda Dot3 in my helms, but I have heard people reccomend Dot4...

And has anyone heard or used these "speedbleeders" ?

http://www.speedbleeder.com/

Seems like it would be a great thing to have, and only 7.50 a pop, not bad, but I don't know which size to get, the two closest are:

Part Number | Thread Size | Overall Length
in., (mm)

SB1010 # | M10 X 1.0 | 1.35, (34.44)
SB10125 # | M10 X 1.25 | 1.35, (32.44)

I wrote them and they seem to have good feedback. I'll let you know what I find out.

yes you can use dot 4, dot 3 and 4 are interchangable, dot 4 is recommended because it has a higher boiling point, but it also costs more, as for the speed bleeder thing, it seems ok i guess, but i use vacuum bleed, its alot better, no mess

Dont be so quick to use DOT 4 fluids. Honda recommends Dot 3 brake fluid and thats what you should use. If you use a dot 4 fluid, it will shorten the life of the brake system because it is more corrosive. Unless you road race, those high boiling point wont help you one bit(you'll cook your stock rotor and pads if your boiling your brake fluid), if you bleed the brakes regularly then you should be fine. I would recommend ATE super blue fluid, and bleed your brakes every 5 month or so (get those bubbles out). As far as speed bleeders, I always ask mom to help:D .

honda also recommends to not modify your car, use honda paper filter, honda oil/filter, ect, but it hasnt stopped people from changing out those stuff either

We used some Castrol Brake fluid for our Rotora Big Brake kit. The label says it exceeds Dot 3 and 4 specifications.
