Thanks Chuck/SSUSA...I was suprised that the goodies got here so fast (FedEx Ground)! :D

I asked Chuck late last week to have the goodies shipped here by Friday and they got here today! I needed all the goodies in time for an AutoX event this Sunday.

Here they are:

Yep, I have plans to the install (swaps) Friday evening and will have the Progress springs out to you on Saturday or Monday. Thanks again for your patience! :)

Nice set up! I just installed my Injen CAI
a few hours ago and the thing is unbelivable! The car breaks loose pretty hard in 2nd gear now, and the air slurp when you turn off the car is awesome.

Sound is a subjective experiance, at idle it isnt really noticabley louder but at WOT it sounds great. Midpipe + CAI = perfect sound level for me. (hitting the track on friday, hopefully it'll be a cold crisp morning and i'll be able to really test out the difference.)

Thats cool! You should've also ordered the Tein upper pillow ball mount so you don't have to reuse the stock upper hat assembly.

Looking good JP! Now lets see how much of a difference it makes on the track for you. Good luck at your event!:m:

Yeah, I can't wait to feel the difference when dodging the cones on Sunday! :)

BTW, I did some more research (calling around to Tein dealers) and the Tein Basics do not work with their Pillow Ball Upper Mount...I wish they did. O well, that's no big deal...plus my wife would kill me if she saw another $200 charged. She still hasn't seen the extra $150 (3 day shipping...doh!) for Axxis Ulimate brake pads and Ate super blue racing fluid I got today (thanks Brakezone.com & Sherwin).

See this table for more info (look under the upper mount column):

You guys need to manage your wives better. Just ask her if she'd rather see that money spent at a strip club. :D

Awesome man, most definitly get us a review!

I'm still trying to work it out to make it up there Sunday for the auto-x. What time are you going to be there?

I will be running in the afternoon session and plan to be there around 12 noon...maybe bum a ride from Chunky (if he is there), so I can get a feel for the line around the course.

Go here to pre-reg (or pay $5 extra for onsite reg):

No DIY guide this time around...it's pretty straight forward like installing the springs, and there are DIY guides for springs (as you probably know i.e. the one I did)...it's probably easier than doing springs. I did take some photos of it and will try to write up a little something i.e. do's and dont's. The Tein's are beautiful & my handling obviously improved at yesterday's AutoX event (I did pretty good)! The Injen CAI feels great and I can actually feel (butt dyno) it pull better than the Typhoon SRI. I didn't really get to test the brakes out well yesterday, but they do feel better & more responsive. Needless to say I'm very happy with my new mods!!! :D

Anybody know where I can get a good set of light 16s with Falken Azenis at a good price? ;)
