I would really like to get these soon. The only problem is I'm worried about rusting since I live in NY. I guess I'm just a little detered from buying them since I've heard about other coilovers rusting and also since I don't have a clue of what the Mugen suspension is made out of. One thing I have to ask is if the stock suspension comes with any rust proofing? Reason is I never hear of failing stock suspension from rust, so I may just be overly paranoid. Thanks for any help.

Actually, the struts Mugen uses are made by the same company (Showa) that supplies Honda with its OEM versions. They are simply re-valved for this applications. As far as the springs, I'm not sure but would bank on that they only use the best ;)

The Mugen suspension aren't coilovers. They're essentially a sportier, higher quality version of the stock suspension. They won't be any worse in salt than what's in your car now, and will probably be better.
