Seeing how Msrp is 19000 and people are getting it so cheap, how much did you pay for your SI?

Ugh, not again. This topic has been beaten to death. You don't even need to search, just scroll through a couple pages of messages.

well, i just bought mine a week ago. the sticker was 20 but i got it for 17,000. dont pay more unless its a 04. its just not worth it. most will say things like 15.5 and no more, but thats due to locatioin. your from LA and im from the washington dc area. both are not cheap places to live or buy cars. so id say dont do more than 17 and shoot for 16.5. you can try to get it as low as possible but if you get it for 17 you wont be dissapointed. its very worth 17. very nice car. good luck.

Is your credit shot to hell? You probably can call your state department of consumer protection and get some relief.:yellm:

it is under my dad's credit, and he has good credit, Im still 17 so it cant be under my name yet, anyway iono, i got it to 18800 from 19400, then license and tax it turned out to be around 23000, then plus interest turned out to be 28000. I dont know that much about these stuff, what do u mean by consumer protection and relief???

They used some creative accounting to get from 18,800 to 23,000. tax title and registration should be nowhere near $4k on a 19k car. Finance rate would be around 7.9 to bring your total cost to around $28k for a 23k principal. Thats pretty bad, but not unheard of.

I would look at your documentation and see what else they charged you besides tax, conveyance fee, registration, etc.
