what do you mean by best?
best for price? what size tires? how much are you willing to spend? dry? wet? daily drive? any autox?

Alright.. my bad... best looking and value tire for every day driving and occasional limit pushing on local mountain roads.. i was thinking 215/40/17's...

I run the yokahama parada spec-2. Excellent wet and dry traction. I only payed $98 per tyre. I have also heard good things about the Kuhmo 712.

for what you are looking for i would say look at yoko-es100's

dude if you want the most badass tires i can think of..i work at a shop in so cal...and my co. workers and i can only suggest BFG G-Force tires...those are #1 the others i saw that i really like and got the highest ratings were the Yokohama AO32R tires...but they only stay SUPER STICKY after one raping...then the stickyness goes down quickly...after that...Im rollin on Kumho Ecsta supra V700A's these work GREAT...i can launch and take the mountain roads like a bat out of hell...check those out...they are my best suggestions.

Yeah I'd recommend the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's or the Yokohama AVS ES-100's. I had the 712's and I LOVED them.

hell yah thanks guys.. for the price and word of mouth i have been hearing about them, kumho's seem like a pretty good idea
