got the mid pipe installed...

2 inch....cost me 74 bucks.....installed in like 20 minutes

Great mod...cheap and effective!!

Yeah lost a tiny bit of torque down low....but the top end screams.

Loud enough to be heard....quite enough for the cops to leave you alone.

The new midpipe has no resenator.

Got some big compliments from people at work today.

There are a few ricer's( 91 EX accord with a HUGE wing, 98 neon with aztezzas, etc )here at work and people thought I was going to become one of the F & F guys.

Even my 40 yr old boss said the car sounded like it had some balls now.

Smoked this guy with a 2003 OZ Ralley Lancer.

I can't even go to shops to get mine done :( I'm too low with the kit on :D and I'm too lazy to take it off. I'll just wait until ebay sells them again.

Yeah it appeared to be bolted onto the CAT....but welded to the muffler.

I reserched this topic alot before I did it. The reason I went with a 2 inch instead of a 2.25 inch pipe was due to the fact that I didn't want to suffer a big loss in torque.

Try going to www.mufflertech.com. They have cat back, midpipes, and rear sections for are cars and it does not seem to be to bad of a price.

whats the advantage of 2.25" over 2"? i hear there is a loss of torque, so why go bigger?

I would have answered your question earlier...but freaking EPHATCH won't stay online.

People go witht the 2.25 because either one they didn't do their research or two they don't care about the torque loss because their gains on the high end are greater (meaning....more power from 4000rpms to redline).

Personally I went with the 2 inch because I wanted a modest balance of both torque and hp.
Higher torque #'s= faster off the line from a dead stop
Higher HP#'s=faster top end or more MPH.

I wonder how the high end difference is between a 2.0 and 2.25?
