I had a set of PIAA Super Plasma bulbs in my sir and they decided to blow out low beam. I took them back and got a new set , but the shop says that i have to wire in a relay because of the higher voltage on these new bulbs. I don't want to kill my Waranty on my car but i wanted to know if i can put the new ones in without the relay? Will this burn out my stock wiring harness or just burn out the new bulbs?
:(

You shouldn't have to.

I've had a set of SuperWhite Platinums in mine for almost a year now without problems.

Just put on a set of latex glove or something like that when you install them to insure you don't get any shmootz on the bulbs! Just the smallest amount of oil can cause the bulbs to overheat.

piaa is designed to use stock wattage but put out more with out messing anything up. piaa lights have 90 warranty on them.
