I am debating whether i should switch my deck. I saw a number of pictures of other ppl's ride, but i don't like the fact that u have to take dat silver thing(the deck section and that cd holder kinda place)and just leave dat section black.

Hope u guys can help me out!!!!

I should take a night pic. You can "fine tune" the colour of the display to whatever you like. I have it set identical to the gauge lights.

No, you can't leave the original "silver part" there. It must be replaced. And no, I didn't think of painting it silver. To be honest, I was surprized at how good it looked, once I popped it all back into place. Looks okay with the deck still being silver.

The answers to all your questions is HERE. (http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027015)
I got it from a local audio/video store. I got a killer deal though cause I "kinda" know the guy that sold it to me. It pays to shake a few hands here and there.

Looks great....I basically have the same set-up (Just a different silver JVC deck). Personally, I like the color contrast that the black gives. Also, there is an install vendor that sells the kit in silver. It had not been released when I called www.Crutchfield.com and ordered my install kit in the spring.

Hey, people, post what model numbers you've got, so we can buy the same thing if we like the way it looks. Also, a short blurb about performance, good or bad, would be helpful.

Honda 2003 S2000 Start Engine Button (on the right side)

I went to Honda and got it for $50. We had to cut into the side where the silver piece was, but the button looks great there (almost a perfect fit). Ask STP, he's seen my car. I can't start my car without pressing it. = )

my panasonic is CQ-DF783U .It's a cd/mp3/wma/50peak x4price $249. I have 211 songs on one cd because of mp3. I love my unit. It makes the stock speakers sound so nice, but I also have 1 jl audio w6 12' with an alpine mrp-m350 amp. in the trunck and that bumps really hard.

I know most of you don't think anything of AIWA, but for the price I paid ($150) and the fact that it came with steering wheel remote made up for its shortcomings.

http://members.aol.com/blueiedgod/stealthy.jpg
Note the remote on the steering wheel

http://members.aol.com/blueiedgod/open.jpg

http://members.aol.com/blueiedgod/lightup.jpg
one of the shortcomings is this ricey blue light bar, that can not be turned off.

Although the unit is capable of playig both MP3 and WMA, one thing I don't like is its inabbility to scan within a file.
