The best way to accomplish it is to unbolt the caliper and the caliper bracket from the hub assembly. Use a coat hanger to suspend the caliper from the car, so that you don't damage the brake line. Take the brake pads out of the caliper and lay them to the side. Note: don't mix them up so when you put it back together they will go in the same spot. Clean the brake caliper and the caliper brackets with Brakelein(blue or red can, can be found at auto part store aroud the brake fluid.) Then take some medium grade sandpaper and scuf the caliper and the bracket so the paint will adhere to the parts. Next coat the parts as needed with the caliper paint of your choice. Let the paint dry and slap it all back together, and torque the bolt to spec.

YEAH, WHAT HE SAID!!!
only other things, cover everything else up with newspaper or trash bags. paint the brackets seperate, and remove the sliders and boots from the brackets before painting. be sure to use high heat paint (engine paint).

Personally I think any color draws too much attention to our undersized rotors.

I won't paint my cali's until I get slotted rotors, and if anything I'll paint mine blue so i won't have to look like you guys....

I used touch up paint on my rear calipers. 3 coats.

just used some brake cleaner first.. no sanding.. then painted on the touch up paint with the brush..

low budget, yes.. the color changes SLIGHTLY with time.. but it's stayed on a year already, no problem.

i don't like the "take your calipers off and take out the pads and spray" method. Sometimes you'll clog your brake pistons, get overspray on some parts of your car.. and it's a LOT more work..
