I just installed an H7 HID kit in my 600RR. Yes I know guys not in my EP sorry. The low beam will come on but when I start the bike up sometimes it won't come back on after it cuts out for ignition. I think its because its not getting enough voltage. The battery in my bike is very small. I've heard that I need a relay. Can anyone help me out?

i'm not too familiar with bikes, but it is always best to hook up a relay kit direct to the battery and hook up the trigger to your factory light switch. did the kit not come with any relays?

Nope the kit didnt come with any relays. It would be actually easier to hook it up to the battery and run some relays. Which ones should I buy?

Heywhats p i was having a similar problem with my HID kit on my ep3 and it ended up being the HID ballast

buy a standard 4 prong relay from auto store and some 14 guage wire should be good enough.

go with bosch relay they the best ones on the market

Yep I got most of the bugs worked out. It starts almost every time now. Thanks for your help!

Javier told me you got an R6, I want the 600RR! How much did the HID kit run you?

Yo Suk!

We both have bikes now. I talked the guy down to $350 cash for the kit. It works great. When I get some more cash together I might buy one for my EP as well.
