How much for the lower control arms, whats the advantage of having these does it help the wheels stay aligned? my dealer told me i might need these with my tein drop.....

Control arms were mostly for bling factor, but they were free (to me!) They really don't serve any purpose aside from replacing the stock units with a lighter part, they don't really do anything to the car in terms of suspension geometry. The camber kit is even more impressive, when compared to the stock units. They're MUCH heavier and beefier.

Looks great, I am dying to lower my car after seeing those pics. I am hesitant at doing the work twice though, I am still going to hold off until some other shocks come out.

yeah that was my only bit of apprehension, but as long as you don't let the hubs fall (thus pulling the axles out of alignment) it should be a two hour job, with air tools.

I've owned as many VW's as I have Hondas, I'm not a brand snob. :p

Looks very nice! After seeing your car I think I want the control arms too, just gotta find the extra money. Also, are these legal for auto-x in STS?
