my si wont start

i got ready to leave work today n my car wouldnt start, the radio acame on but when u turn the key to ac power nothing on the cluster would light up not even the egine light. so i check the battery and do the basics everything looked fine. so then it start really roughly. so i stop to get gas station it did it again so know im here at the dealer after being towed. the dealer claims it might be my s2k push start button or my clifford 8000 alarm. so a diagnostics is gonna cost me 160. to start and its not under warranty so i have know idea what is goin on the shop that installed the alarm claims its not the alarm the dealer say it is the s2k has its on relay so im stumped. has anyone ever experienced this or know how to fix it

he said he was towed to that dealer. but if thats an option then go for it.

wait, so would the engine turn over and just not fire up? Or would it not turn over at all? If it just doesnt fire up, could be a faulty ground wire, that happened to mine...
