I was wondering if I'm suppose to get a Immobizer key with my 2002 Si Model like my friend did wit his 2003???
And also its been 8months since i got the car. They will still have to cut and program the new key for me free of charge, right?

-Thanks in advance

Paul

I think he's thinking of the wave-cut keys.

The key code should be in your manual. I lost a key to my motorcycle about 2 years ago and I thought I was screwed. Most locksmiths told me I would have to bring the ignition in.

Luckly I checked my manual and the code was in there. Gave the code to the locksmith and he made me a key for 10 bucks.

I don't think the guy needs a duplicate. I think he thinks he's supposed to get a wave-cut key like his friend's '03. Like Honda is going to change out the ignition switches of '02 owners just to be nice...
