so i was reading an engine thread a few minutes ago and I get this notion that since we have vtec on the intake side....why couldn't we use just the rsx-s intake cam? I go out hunting and find this.....

ITR intake cam sold separately (http://www.optauto.com/webstore/product_information.asp?number=HON-TRCAM-K20I&variation=&aitem=15&mitem=23&back=yes&dept=1163)

Thoughts on this? Even though we have the 2200 x-over, I think it would still help dramatically with top end. specifically those with hondata. Of course this is assuming optauto is marketing their products truthfully and it works with the a3 head.

Dude the cam itself may fit fine.... its just the cam lobes may not ,from what i see in pics, align with the rockers.

Someone i think has a pic of our cams and the type-s or ITR cams....not sure who has it though we could take a look but i dont think they will fit because like i said before the cam lobes maynot line up right with the rockers..i could be wrong but...it will be kewl to find out.

they're marketing that cam to RSX-S owners as an upgrade to their cam.

The VTEC on the K2003 and k2002 are not the same. I really doubt the Type-S cams would work.
