Intake w stock exhaust??

I'm looking into buying the Injen Race CAI, but is it worth it with the stock exhaust? If I'm not gonna notice that much of a difference, then I'll just wait to get the intake and exhaust at the same time. I'm still waiting for an exhaust I like to come out which should be real soon. Thanks for the help.

I would say that the intake is the single best upgrade you can make to your ep. My Typhoon was my first mod and it made a HUGE difference, more so than the midpipe and header combined.

Agreed. My Injen CAI is awesome. It'll be even better when I get the header and midpipe done.

Where can you get a midpipe, and what kind did you get?

I'm getting a HP header and custom mandrel bent (2.25) midpipe fitted to the stock muffler.

Most muffler shops can do mandrel bends, if not, they can tell you who can.

I also have the HP header. My midpipe is not mandrel bent, but I'm replacing it soon with a 2.25" mandrel one. I'm ordering it from MBRP in Canada. It's stainless steel with a resonator.

i've only heard great things about intakes on our eps, i definitly would say get one! i'm getting my cousin a race spec injen intake ASAP (i owe him alot of money) :D ...and i'm going to get a comptech filter for myself and getting a spoon sports mid pipe yeehaw! :cool:

Where did you get your HP header and for what price?

Got the header from NOPI. It's actually for a 2002 Acura RSX (base model, not Type-S). Total came to $194 with shipping for the chrome one, ceramic is a little more.
