Last week my wheels were stolen. I didn't have locks but I had unique lugs obviously like everyone else these days. I'm wondering about the lugnut locks...how good are they at preventing this type of thing? Any info at all would be great, thanks everyone.

my suggestion would not be cheap, but get 4 different sets of "unique" lugnuts and put one of each per wheel, might not stop bottom feeders, but it will slow them down. ever seen a lowlife diggin through a tool bag trying all of his lug keys for each nut he came to? NO, they will go to something easier.:D

you are probably lookin at a hundred or so. each set should be about 25 bucks. gorilla, mcgard, an internal spline drive any brand and an external spline drive any brand. it wont be pretty, but it will look better than cinder blocks under your car. sorry that is best suggestion I have. good luck.

Why not good old-fashioned McGard locking lug nuts for 30 bucks?
