So im saving my money but i dont know what to get. It's either a GSX 600 bike or a K20A2 swap. What do you guys think would be better and funner? For the swap where's a good place to go and whats the best price out there on this site? I remember seeing something about it on thi site but i dont remember. Can you guys please give me the info on this. Thanks.

the questions is what do YOU think will be funner? you know what a forum full of ep owners are gonna say already, i think you unconsiously want the type s swap that's why you are asking us.

The bike will be more fun and you can always sell it later.

Get the bike! IMO, fun factor on bike is waaaaaay better. Altogether, a different feeling than being "enclosed" in a car. Skip the 600 though, you WILL get bored with it. Push for a 75O. I own a 2001 Suzuki GSXR750. Ride safely, lotta bad drivers out there. Lata!

Have you ever had a bike? If not then I would go with the swap...

I don't know how many guys I know that have never had a bike and go get something and either kill themselves or total the bike.

If you've never had a bike...that 600 is too much for you. 599cc bikes top out at a top speed of about 140mph. I'm not doubting your skills....but for a new biker....its too much power.

Or if you still live with the rents...use the money as a downpayment on a condo/townhouse.

im leaning more towards the swap than the bike... does anyone know any prices for the swap down in southern california... who and where? thanks

Yeah, go for the swap!!! A bike is (though fun to ride) a much easier way to kill yourself.

Get the bike later when you hit age 22, maturity is the key to survival. You must respect the bike and know your limits. Take a MSF course before you decide on picking up a bike. This will help in letting you know if a bike is for you. A bike will keep you in shape, so it's better for your health then sitting on your a$$ and kicking away on the gas pedal. There is nothing better than to cruise around w/a fine a$$ chick leaning on your back.;)

Get the bike. I own a Triumph 600. Bikes are fun but the a2 swap would be sweet too. Flip a coin to choose.

GO with the bike.. DEFINATELY. get the swap later on if you still have some bank for it.

And definately Do NOT get anything smaller than a 600 you WILL regret it. I ride a 03 F4I and I love the way the bike looks but it is already boring me. Im looking into the 1000RR for next summer and I would buy that way before I'd drop even a K20A1 into my car. That or the new R1... hard decision.

On a side note.. Anybody got a A2 head laying around? Im looking for one to port n polish and drop into my ride.

Peace

Come over to the side of the S my son.

You can only ride a bike part of the year & if you are anything like me you know deep down you will not be able to stay out of it & sooner or later you will smear your self all over the highway.

NOTE: I haven't even read the replies yet!

Get the swap!

The bike will accelerate a LOT quicker, can go stupid fast, lets you wear leather that doesn't look like it's a costume, and does that leaning thing that no car can do.

The EP, on the other hand, will not slide out from under you when you hit that oil patch, will work in the snow, will keep you dry, and will take a beating before you lose your life. The bike will just run away and leave you to skid into the guardrail with your helmet.

I would LOVE a motorcycle of any kind if they weren't so damned dangerous.

A full swap just sold on Ebay for around $2300. They're getting pretty cheap and will only continue to go down in price once more and more are on the road/wrecked/sold.
