If there is a governer, then it's set very high. I know for a fact that my 03 does at least 125mph with a passenger and the normal junk in my trunk. Several other people on here say that they have had thier cars at 130+..

I believe it doesn't have a governer. I think it tops down in 5th gear at the redline. At least that's what I think, never had had the oportunity to take it so high.

Or I could be wrong. :D I don't know why, but I recalled reading something about speed restrictions and governors. Perhaps it's only required on cars that are capable of super high speeds.

I know the RSX does not have a governor. It is drag limited. This means the car can go as fast as the engine can push it through the air. I do believe the Si is the same way. Oh & I have seen 145mph :D

I've only been up to 125, it'd be crazy to hit red in 5th but I'm too much of a pansy to risk it I'm so afraid of cops :D
I remember someone saying that the japanese and european cars all have a max speed, but I cant ever recall that about ours. Hell, lets be honest... ours don't even go all that fast.

My understanding was that japanese cars weren't governed. My 94 accord ex went up to 133mph n' it would've kept goin hadn't it been so windy n' had a lil more power.

My dad's 325i is goverend at 125 i believe. The car def would've gone higher cause the thing jus kept on pulling hard, even before 125mph.

my honda civic 2002 ex was governed. couldnt go over 125

My 89 s13 240sx had a speed governor at 115-118, really low. I heard it was easily removed but you would loose the speedo.

Yes. You will prolly be able to touch about 150-160 with hondata. I seriously doubt we will get the car up to that speed though. i/h/e is prolly good for about 5 more mph in the 130 range....but I dunno if we can touch 150's.....

so if your goign 130 to your speedo....you are probably going like 124-126
