View Full Version : Help with Type R wing!

I just had one put on my car.. there are 2 holes extra down on the bottom that rest on the rear glass... my body man told me it looks liek they are missing a brack or soemthing and didnt like to leave it like that.. he said it migh crack my rear window... wat goes there? or is that how it fits us cars?

U gonna have to cut it off. shave it down. try a search many people had this problem.

the wing you have is formed from the CTR wing that has mounting holes that go through the glass. Our Si/SiR's dont have those mounting holes due to our wing being smaller than michael jackson's nose. To get that wing to fit right, the lob that extends needs to be cut/shaven down to fit flush against the hatch. HTH

I can email you the instructions if you think that would help. But those 2 small holes I wouldn't worry about. You just cover it w/ EPT sealer and your fine.
