Was wondering if anyone has them and what they think about them.
How they ride and what kind of drop they give......

IMO, they give the best drop. i thnk like 2.25" drop cuz our stock car needs it badliy. it's way too high. alot of people on here has got them and i think like them. the ride quality is sorta bouncy, but ridable. the drop is even. search for people's ride with them. hth. bye

the drop is great but stay away from rough roads and speed bumps. the ride is quite rough though.

They are stiffer than stock springs right?

IMO the ride sucks in them if you even blip a stone in the road....but they are iight springs...

Sorry to bitch but I'm gettin confused here. a rough ride is from overly-stiff springs. A bouncy ride is from soft weak springs. right?

Are the neuspeeds actually twice as soft as the stock springs like the "spring rate" thread says? OR is the ride rough because they are too stiff (like a good aftermarket spring[neuspeed] should be IMO)???

since the shock doenst have much room if any to travel on that drop, the ride is bouncy. and the springs are on soft side

Ive been wonderin about the ride as well.. Im not exactly expecting much other than a good lookin drop.. will i still be able to make it over speed bumps?
I have the springs sittin in my garage but am waitin for my 18"s and camber kit before I install em...

yeah u can make it over any average speed bump without any probs but gotta go over em slow. as long as u can deal with the ride u'll like em cuz the ep sits super high stock. even with this drop its not low, but at least its not super high

it by far gives the best drop.... as long as u dont have a lowered midpipe like mine.. u can clear anything... i even drove off a 6" curb and its fine.

They are all right while doing hard cornering i really don't like the feeling though, i am going to get a Tein Basic Coil over kit, or possibly shell out the cash for a Mugen suspension kit.

If you only want to be lowered the Neuspeeds are great, if you are really going to use/abuse the car in corners, they will do for a while till you get a real suspension set up

So what ya'll are sayin is the neuspeed race springs are good for the 2" drop but worthless for handling???

The Neuspeeds certainly have a lot of "show" .The Race springs provide an agressive drop but at the sacrifice of the oem shocks . My shocks failed - both front - after 6 to 7 months with the Neuspeed springs. The ride is now a little bouncy , but the hunkered down stance and other suspension mods still make for a much improved ride over the stock setup . With the blown shocks there is a fair amount of spring coil noise and bottoming out , happens rarely , can be bone jarring.

Again , for looks , the Neuspeeds are fantastic.

My car is a four seasons EP33 and the Mugen Suspension provides the best all season construction and durability . Car will be lower than stock form but now higher than Neuspeed Race drop , so it is a happy medium .
