this is a repost, the show was a rerun ...

but myself and car and driver were disappointed with the brakes. i mean, why only use 11.8"/11" RSX rotors and pistons on a car that makes 325 hp?

but what was intriguing was the use of the K24. this car helps prove that the K24 is a viable option to the K20A2 swap in terms of power. it's amazing how the K24s react to mods.

How do you get ahold of other engines? It seems as though it would be hard to actually find one in good shape at a junk yard, or find a car with the engine still in it. I'm speaking of like the k20a2 & so on...

you can find deals on wrecked cars. sometimes others will sell their engines on clubrsx.com or go through an online store like jaydm.com

Their main problem was traction, which is why the EP's time was slow for a car making so much power.

List o' mods. (http://caranddriver.com/article.asp?article_id=6989&section_id=15&page_number=10)

I think what hurts this car the most is its tires. 325hp and 255 lb/ft of torque is a lot for those 215/45-ZR17s to handle!

Give it 225s or 235s and you would see the numbers improve greatly!

Actually, it was out of 16 total cars so it really beat out 8 cars

Car and Driver magazine was quoting estimated flywheel numbers and Honda Tuning was reporting wheel hp and torque from a dyno test at Church Automotive. More info and specs here: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=659131
