tire wheel combo

i know this has been beatin to death but i am switching to lighter wheels. just need to know if 215/50/16 will be fine on our cars? what about 225s? rubber is alot of money and i dont want to make a bad decision. thanx.

215/50-16s should be fine.

225 is overkill. You also might get into rubbing problems if you are dropped.
