The general consensus is the Flex is a nice set-up but overkill unless you race. The EDFC is beyond ghetto fabulous, but the whole set-up is way stiff, and has way more adjustments than you want, unless you've got a lot of time on your hands. Search, this is a FAQ.

Call Shawn Hillier and ask him how he likes the setup. :D He's the only person I know of so far who has the entire setup with EDFC and everything.

Tein Basics, for half the price. You don't need Flex.

Basics are still a full coilover setup, they just don't allow you to adjust the shocks like you can with the flex or SS setups.

let me make sure i have this right, with Tein basics- you can't adjust ride height? If you can't then how much do they lower your car?

No, with the basics you can ONLY adjust ride height. with the flex and ss you can adjust more stuff, which sort of increases the complexity. I would say the basics are the easiest to own.

I dont' think you're gonna find anyone who has experience with all three setups. I'd call tein to find out. It's a toll free number.

well honestly there's no such thing as performance suspension with stock ride, something has to give.

Define 'performance.' I would imagine that the suspension setups on drag racing cars is incredibly different from one for track cars (softer/stiffer).
