Since I bought my car used, I was wondering what a new EP cost these days. If you bought your's new, how much was it? And if you bought it used, how many miles did it have?

I don't mean to be a dick but why did you buy this car with all kinds of mods on it if you know absolutly NOTHING about this car. The car stickers for 19,500. A large majority paid right about 16,500 for their car. One or two people paid like 14,500 for their car. I know some people even paid upwards of 21,000 for their EP.

Looks like $700 below invoice is about right.

I remember seeing two EPs in STL sit in the same spots for EIGHT months before they started reducting prices. By the time I realized that they were desperate enough to let me drive one (I was 16 at the time, lol), both had over 400 miles of test driving on them. I believe they both sold for under 15k when they finally did sell.

This is the story- I went to the dealer to go look at Accords, but figured that an Accord was to big for my needs. While i was there I noticed a Civic hatch. Honestly, my first impression was "Who the hell would buy one of those new Civic's?" I didn't like 'em at all. But after a test drive, I came to like the car more and more. I have only seen the 7gen Civic's like 2 times before, so I didn't know much about the cars, or what was stock or not stock. I must of just been caught up in the excitement about buying a new car, and didn't notice the mods. But coming from a slammed 91 Teg, the car didn't appear to be lowered to me, and the ride was smooth. In addition to that, I have a 91 civic hatch, and absolutely love it, so i figured I would love a newer Civic even more. The sticker was at 18k, but when i told the dealer that it was too much for me, they dropped it to 17k. That was still too much for me, so he dropped it to 16k.

I also seriuously considered purchasing a WRX. But went with the hatch for several reasons:

1. Non-turbo- I need good gas mileage, dependability beyond 80k, and a car that's not a pain to tune.

2. Size- small

3.It's a Honda- After several motor swaps, and hours on hours of fixing cars, I know honda engines pretty good. I just never seen a K20 series, so i didn't what is what.

I know I should of at least done some comparison shopping for prices and found out more on the car, but I never considered buying one until i test drove it. Here's the honest to god truth too- I sold my Integra becuase I wanted to get out of the import game. I was tired tired of driving a loud ass, yellow Teg. You can imagine, how surprised I was to find out the car had a few mods.

I may know absolutetly nothing about this car, but that doesn't mean I don't know anything about Honda's or Nissan's. It also doesn't mean that I can't learn about the car, I found something new about the EP everyday, and I love this car!

Yeah, like that has any truth to it. The reason the WRX gets worse milege has to do with the AWD, not the turbo.

Since when were turbod cars a pain to tune anyways? And unreliable past 80k?

16,300 + Mats (hondafloormats.com cost) + cargo tray (hondafloormats.com cost) + mug guards (lower than sticker). I could have got a little lower on the mud guards had I noticed the hondafloormats.com (or a link on there) had them for cheaper. I had a price below 16k but I had to take a black one. I had to have the blue and was satisified paying a little more for it.

My 02' silver nightmare was 17,000 with 4.9% traded summer 03' for a 03' Taffeta white 16,900 with mats, splash gaurds, trunk liner, and wheel locks, plus 1.9% APR. Honda/Acura of Spokane, WA is the shit. I love this damn car. I got 14,600 for my 02' with 2800 miles on it. Lost around $2.5k in the deal, but I don't have a fucked up paint job and scratched glass. :'(
