What are those red wires running along the center console?

Nice ep btw

I meant the ones that are down by the cup holder and the e brake. There are wires running along the sides of the console and I was wondering what those were?

I Like what you have done to dress up the engine bay... The red manifold cover looks good... :D

bratkat64

Yeah he has some neon lights taped to his console. He didn't turn them on while I was there, but it's something you can get at PepBoys or possibly walmart. >_<

can i ask why the mugen sticker on the side of your ride? all i saw was a mugen shift knob, and its prolly the 10 buck one frm ebay. you painted ur engine red and the backing to the stock loge and have fake type R pads. i can smell a poser.

The front H emblem looks sweet. How did he do that?

MrCivic03
10-31-2003, 02:05 PM
Thanks for those Compliments on what i did nice and what i also pissed my money away on... well the type r pads help alot if i brake hard soften up the seatbeats alot... and well the neons i just took off then werent spensive but it looked cool. the paint on the emblem and the engine cover is Universal Red High Temp. Engine Paint. i also mixed up the paint and used a red caliper paint and the red engine paint and then accidentally broke the front emblem so i took it and painted it with the concocktion then double-sided taped it on. turned out perfect.i did this nstead of a jdm one bc i want a mugen grill. i got the stickers fo free so i just put them on they look good. the injen sticker came with my intake and it is like a sticker but like a decal. i love the exhaust and my pedals are sweet. thanks for compliments and yet disgusted views on my car. but i love it, gots a great go...

im not a poser i have MY OWN FUCKIN TASTE alright... i did the engine cover bc got real bored one day after i did calipers. as i posted before got both the pads and the mugen sticker for free... but no that is a real mugen knob and was NOT $10 dollars... it is a great knob drops the shifter height about 1/2 inch compared. i dont care about ur opinon, it is my taste. the pads do help tho so...

I have the red Mugen shift knob too (and thats for damn sure it doesnt cost $10) but I thought i was original when I put the shift gate sticker in that little hole...well now that I think about it I have had mine for about two months now...so I'm still an OG:cool:

By the way, nice car!

MrCivic03
10-31-2003, 03:31 PM
ya i didnt copy ne one on that my dad said he needed it there to see where to shift(smartASS)but i like it where it is bc it covers that ugly hole... sorry if i went off but i just got like 3 50's on some math and la quizzes... but then again i didnt buy them they were free for me lol and hell ya it was for sure not damn 10 dollars and well i would say yes it was worth the price... i also not trying to be a poser but i want a red/black design goin on so hence the red mani cover and spark. the logo well i took it off and it broke so i kinda just decided to paint it and see how it looked lucky it turned out good and didnt have to buy a jdm for right now. i also got the money to but not if i get the mugen grill bc i dont want to rip it off and have to put it on like it was used. thanks jp and jon well yes i agree on it is not very COOL but i use the pads and they work pretty damn good. but i got them type r bc well my friend actually gave them to me. he had them for his integra type r.

The only thing I didn't like about ur car were the neons, but I stated that while I was there. I do love how you've done your engine. It's so bright and everything. Mines dull from leaving it in lol.

As for the Type R things, if you like them I wouldn't worry about what anyone else says. Shaun needs some for people who ride with him cause his seatbelts hurt!

http://rancidracing.com/racingmeets/IM000942.JPG
I loved that ^

As for stickers, some people like them, some people don't. You removed all the other stuff which gives your car a clean look, and the mugen stickers are so small u cant even tell they are there anyways.

Now u just need to tint ur windows! = )

danoonez
10-31-2003, 04:34 PM
Yeah I put the sticker on my dash because i have the carbon fiber dash kit and then aftermarket head unit and dash kit so the only silver really showing was that little spot-gate sticker covers it nicely. And hell yeah the mugen shift knob is worth it (i wouldnt really know though since it was a gift)...I mean c'mon...its just so damn JDM

Dude your car sucks :smilem: J/P, and if you ever just wanna get rid of that "fake" Mugen knob just let me know I'll take it off your hands. Finally got my Si back from the shop and drove it 30mins home and find out that my gas door will not open. Lil pissed so guess whos getting free paint now. You need to drop that sucker soon, wanna buy my Teins? Hit me up on instant messanger soemtime this weekend.

I guess the only thing I don't care for is the injen sticker...I used to have my injen sticker in that space below the cd player ;) I was that bored..but I kept looking at it and thought why? then I took it off.

The shoulder pads...I don't care for any shoulder pads really, but who gives a damn, you like em, keep em.

The mugen sticker, I don't see anything really that wrong with it, it's not huge and crazy looking. You are just sporting it saying mugen power, not like your posing to have a mugen powered motor.

The rest I like, think it's original with the background red of the H symbol on front, never seen that.

MrCivic03
11-01-2003, 06:38 AM
ya the H is pretty cool it looks pretty damn good to aq jdm plus i not gonna spend the money on them for now i want more go then show. but when i never get ne money i just think of things to do and paint or add something... i might be gettin some springs soon from a friend.

like the car. i even like what you did with the engine, was thinking of doing the same thing but been to lazzy. The thing i have found is no matter what you do someone is going to hate on it. Go with what you like and what you can afford to do, not all of us have tons of cash to buy everything. I think it is even better when you use your imagination and time to do stuff and not just go write a big check to get your stuff..

if you saving up for the mugen grill then you should know that you got to get the JDM H to fit. why not buy them now? the pads are nice. i had greddy ones in my 00 si and they do help. can you read what it says B4 "typeR"? i didn't think so. you might want to borrow your friends grammer book too.

Andrew, I can't believe you let those fucktards ( civicSiRicer etc... ) call you a poser. Anyways Nice ride, but you need to drop that EP like yesterday. I know you want to. Almost all the springs for our cars are under $200 so no excuse.:yellm:

Hondata plus oil change = hotness. The car is great. Last time we talked I got an intake, now I got the red "H" for the steering wheel, shift bushings, My spark plug cover and maniflod cover painted silver by a body shop, ABS splitters for the front bumper ( on backorder ) and a 2.0 bagde to replace the Si in the front grill. I put some pics in my old members ride page. Also glad to see you met up with some other Ga. members. Your ride looks good, but i will not stop bugging you untill you talk your dad into lowering springs. Man you got to...but your Dad, I know I know. later Richard.

Hey you knocking on his pads, then you are knocking on mine :D Let's not start anything over shoulder pads, at least it isn't Fast and the Furious floor mats. He has much better taste than that.

You're bench will never go up with you don't workout your shoulders. Your shoulders are VERY vital. You wouldn't think but your shoulders even help you jump. Big shoulders also create the appearance of a smaller waist.

Strange Shadow....I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK!!!

danoonez

yeah, its looks cool. can anyone tell me how'd he do that?

1) Buy a mugen shift knob

2) pull the shift pattern sticker out of the box

3) peel the plastic off the double sided tape on the back of the sticker

4) place shift gate pattern sticker in empty spot on dash

Sorry I was feeling like a smartass today, no harm intended
