i got owned by a rock 2day....made a hole in my sidewall and gave my rims a pretty nasty battle scar...ill post pics later..oh and now my car pulls to the right *rock hit right front tire*...stupid ass rock

my rock ownage experience consisted of a slow car in right lane, me pulling off on the right shoulder, seeing said huge rock, not having anyplace to go except straight and fast, hitting fucking thing, car catches alittle bit of air:), and finally pulling off to a gas station and checking the damage. my whole exhaust was dented up pretty bad (midpipe,resonator, and muffler, it left nothing untouched!) and both lower control arms got dinged a TAD. :D

you think a rock is bad? i almost got nailed with a lugnut off of a semi driving down the highway the one day in my old eg coupe. it ended up bouncing right over top of my car. and yes, i pretty much crapped my pants. :eek:

in my old cutlass me and 2 friends played chicken with a suv and i had to jump a curb and put a hole the size of a dime in to my side wall. there were cars parked on both sides of the road and we both floored it to get threw the gap first, i beat him threw and made it past the cars but he ran me off the road.

Ouch, that sucks man... You should be able to clean up some of that, but that still looks pretty bad... It totally scarred the tire too...

yeah i can clean up the black stuff around the scratch/scar...as for the tire it went through the sidewall...

Ouch! I know how you feel man. When I had my last car I to low to go over most big rocks and one day there was this huge chunk the size of a brick right in the road. I swerved and missed it with the front tire but nailed it head on with the back. I heard the sound of escaping air and when i looked at the rim it looked fine from the outside but inside there was a huge dent and crack where the impact had pushed thru the tire and dented the rim. If all you have is a side scrape then the rim might still hold air and be round, and just had a little ugly spot. get a new tire a see if you can save yourself some money on a new rim.
