View Full Version : new exhaust = mant req light

I put on my new magnaflow exhaust yesterday and now my maintenance required light is blinking at me. i dont know what could have happened. the only thing i can think of is the O2 sensor in the cat ? If this has happened to anyone else or if anyone heard of such a thing please let me know whats going on. plus i can't take it to the dealer cuz its still under warranty.

just to let you know, if youve gone over a certain amount of miles, like 5,000 or 10,000 that light will pop on.

now if you engine light comes on or blinks when you turn on the power not the car then its a sensor

why during 5,000-10,000 miles ?? does it go away or am i gonna have to take it to someone with proper equipment to get rid of that error

Yes do read it, you haven't been taking it to the dealer for service.

Yeah, somethin like turn off your car, huld down the mileage button, put the car into the on position, wait ten seconds, and it will go off... I think thats it atleast...
