im sitting there one day.... and it hit me.... why cant i just use the $15 instead of the $50 K&N.

yes, all bow to me, for sharing this great Mod. (and thank you for sharing yours) :)

this mod will go down in history... and yes i invented it... And yes its going to my head. sorry, i'll shut up now.

hey... waddya know. it fits perfectly in the top of the intake box.

trim these to desired length... the filter will sit on top of these. dont mess this up now... not too long and not too short.

ok... now put the top and bottom of the box together. hey i see you in there. put the box and piping all back and you are all done.

oh its not a k&n its a regular cone filter form your local shop... cheap little $15 one.

I did the same thing with the K&N cone filter from my old civics intake. No modding though it just fit snug into the box. Nice mod:)

i did something alittle different. what i did was take out the whole air box. and put the cone at the end of the pipe. and put a small oil breather filter on the pipe that connects to the block or where ever it goes. as far as gains i can feel the car pulling a little bit better thats about it and u get the intake sound aswell :D
