View Full Version : Need help with Spoon Strut bar

I just recieved my front upper strut bar for my EP3 and had to see it to belive. It is not ment for US spec. Just wanted to know if anyone here has one on there car, and how/where did they move there reserviors? and pics would help out alot thanks

I haven't taken a close look at the resevoirs but I am fairly sure you are SOL. I would send it back. You are asking for more trouble than its worth.

Do not send it back, it will fit. You can move the reservoir that is in the way. Yu will have to move it over to where the exhaust manifold is. Just drill a new whole into the firewall and mount it and you will need to get a new hose to run it to the beginning of the line. It will work, don't send it back, it is one of the best bars you can buy.

do not mess with the resevoirs, they are for your master cylinder for the brakes

Agreed, I have never been to comfortable with relocating such things. Sorry you got the wrong strut bar, see if you can send it back. If not, you could sell it on your own. Losing money though, lesson learned (about being more careful when buying products).

Its the right bar just ment for JDM EP3 not ours. I will find a way maybe, but mroe than likely i have a guy here locally very interested in the bar, hes a Spoon Whore, only buys Spoon parts, i will let him relocate;)
