I saw this on clubrsx.com, what do you guys think?

Also, a friend of mine is selling his k&n typhoon for a great price. After reading this thread, it's making me think too much about heat soak. Should I go for it, or save up for a Injen CAI or AEM?

Thanks guys.

hmmm...werid...

either way, there is only so much you can get out of an intake, and personally even paying for the injen cai is a little too much. But rather than being dissapointed by the 2?? shelled out for the V2, the gains from the injen RD cai is expected.

personally, an intake can do only so much, just stick with what works.

seriously... You arent gunna find an intake that can add 1200 HP... just deal with it and get one that works pretty well!

Should I worry about heat soak in Phoenix AZ? I think so if you ask me. Crap, maybe I can put the k&n on my EG hatch when I get my injen.................

They don't even make a V2 for our cars, there's simply not enough room.

Yes they do. They make a V2 for our car, and it's an sri. They sell them right now.

V2 is a big fat intake tube, larger diameter.

It overprice for what it is. Just go with AEM CAI or INJEN CAI. You'll love it.

i just went aem and im happy. id hve gotten injen but its overprice and you gotta do something that involves cutting sheetmetal or bending it or something. the aem involves trimming of the wheel well liner but thats easier cause its plastic.

you dont HAVE to cut it, but you should put something to protect it.
