i called my local performance shop trying to find out whats the new word on aftermarket shocks other than koni, and i was told KYB has something coming out probably next month! i also holla'd at TOKICOusa to see whats the hold up, and i was told that they will "hopefully" be out by mid-next year! anybody hear more about these shocks? or am i still stuck riding on crappy for now? im shaky on picking up some koni's knowing i can save just a few more and get the true coilover system like some tein basics or KWs. yet, i could yet save a ton and pick up some good gas shocks, and with the money i saved, pick up a swaybar kit.. so anybody hear something about anything regarding shocks, specifically KYB or Tokicos, for our cars???

Kathryn/sponsored-cute-Si-driver mentioned in one of the SEMA threads
that she would have Tokico's on her car soon and that they should be
displaying them at SEMA this week. Hopefully we'll find out more,
soon.

man, these release dates have been pushed back so often that i'll believe it's out when i see it's out. hopefully Kathryn is right and Tokico will soon have some struts available soon. KYB originally was supposed to release their EP applications this past summer.

I called back in June I think it was and KYB was saying by mid fall and Tokico was saying winter of 03/04. All I know is that I want shocks and who ever is first is getting my money. I have not installed my springs yet but I want to install everything as once so I only have to do it once.

I just sent an e-mail to my Tokico rep, so hopefully I can have an offical answer for you soon. According to their website...the shocks should be available Fall/Winter 2003/04. Here is what is written on the site.
