Hey guys! Here is the inspirational picture that the JigGa mAn was talking about.

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid72/p81a0bb0f945d3c7ec9b06fc0d112095b/fb7f2ab1.jpg

This is how I did it.

1. Make sure it's dark (do'h)
2. Grab your digi camara and make sure that the flash in not enabeled for the purpose of this picture
3. I placed the camara on the flat part just behind the steering wheel so as to make the camera more stable
4. Rev your car as much as you would like. When you start to rev click the button on your camera and the out come will look something like the pic above.

wait, so u dont have to adjust the shutter speed?

Basically, you ARE adjusting your shutter speed somewhat by turning off the flash on AUTO mode. With less light the camera knows the shutter has to be open longer to expose the pic properly, which is why most digi cams have an icon showing you a jitter/shake alert when you turn the flash off at night and are not using a tripod. You can accomplish the SAME THING adjusting your shutter speed manually and making sure the flash is off... If you have a NICE digicam you can take one that blurs the needle from idle to redline if ya want to!!

Very cool pics guys. It's not always about KNOWING how to do something... Sometimes it's about how creativily you use that knowledge! ;)

It's pretty easy. :)
I wanted to take a pic where the needle on the tach is at 8000 and the speedometer right by the tach needle, but I don't have anything to hold the camera steady. :(
