I remember seeing a LOOOOOONNNNGGGGG time ago here on ephatch a thread that discussed special bolts requiring a key as a replacement for the current bolts on our seats. Does anyone know where I can get these? I tried searching but I think the thread was deleted. Thanks.

Well Mcgard does make them but not for our car. Pax went through a lot of time and trouble calling them and dealing with having them make bolts to our spec but it all fell through.
I dont remember the whole story but basically they didnt make them so there are none for our car.
yeah, there was a group buy that pax organized but something went wrong with the deal so he refunded the money.
I don't understand what the bolts are for. Could someone explain in more detail?

Just like wheel locks need a specific key so would these bolts. So not just anyone with a 14mm socket could unbolt your seats.
