Skunk2 with ctr boot.
I just like rubber boot on our shifter console. Just looks better imo.
I had type s shiftknob too. (still have it actually , sitting on my desk.) looked good but i have 5 speed:confused: .

I guess I'll drive around for a while with the type s knob and decide that way. I'm planning to get the k20a2, so I guess it doesn't hurt to have it now ;)

:D true. I could just keep both in case I do get it. Looks like everyone thinks the skunk2 looks a lot better...I guess I do to, just bored I guess. I got this shift knob and boot for 9.95 on ebay :D

speaking of the k20a2...you pretty much get the same gas mileage correct? just have to use premium gas?

damn that's cheap.

here's my input on what to use. stay with stock boot, no matter which knob u use. it just looks better. during summer use the rsx knob and skunk2 for winter. reason? i didnt like how my old knob burn my hand when trying to shift during HOT days.

I'm thinking of putting my skunk2 shift knob and ctr boot with the washer mod I have for sale. I'm liking the type s shift knob. It has more grip to it.

well, I ended up liking the type s better, so I'm selling the skunk2 and ctr boot with the washer to keep the boot up: http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23912

on ebay :D for 10 bucks and it came with the boot. if you guy the shift knob you'll also need the piece that the knob connects to so you can put the stock put on it. The stock silver piece won't clip into the type s shift knob.

the silver thing at the top, the ctr one is smaller, so when you change to certain types of knobs, ifyou change to the cr boot, it looks better and stays up better.

I like the type S / type S boot...i had just the knob (thx acura dealership + rsx-s test drive + shady azns) and liked the way it matched up with the silver dash, but got called a ricer so I took it off :( I have a CF dash now so the stock one matches up pretty nicely.

fuck it, I'll take the ricer comments, I got it because I like it :D I've been called the ricer God on clubsi because of my "unpainted body kit"

If you want really nice 6 speed oem shiftknob... Go with s2000 or new tsx shiftknob. Nice and heavy. I had s2000 stock shiftknob for about 3 days. took it off and sold it. because i dont have 6 speed, blah. k20a2 here i come.

I'd wait for the 6 speed tranny install before I rocked the rsx knob. The skunk2 knob looks nicer IMHO.

the funny part would be if someone else drove your car and attemptd to shift into 6th LOL. I'ld sport the nob if I had it. =)mainly the colors are what I like, I wouldn't care if the number on top said 2 or 20, they'll all fade eventually lol. :D

too late, sold the skunk2 a long time ago. If someone knocks me because it has a number 6 on the knob, they can kiss my number 1 ass! :D
