If you are selling it outright...I would say you might get 14,000 for it. If you take it to a dealer I would be suprised if he gave you 12,000 or 13,000 for it.

we'll need more information than that. what year is your EP? what's the condition like? are you planning on trading it in or selling it on your own? all these will factor into how much you get for the car.

i highly doubt he could get 14 for it.. with 18k miles, i'd say more like 12k

I want to sell it not trade it in. edmunds doesn't give prices for 2003 used cars...

i'm not sure exactly how much your car is worth, but you'll take a big hit since you have 18K on a 2003 model. when did you buy it?

wow pretty high miles, i've got 10600 miles on my 02. when we went and test drove an RSX they had a used one (si) that i think they still have cause they took it in for way to much, i think they were trying to sell it for $14,900 or $15,???, but since the honda dealer is around the corner and selling new ones for $16,500ish they said they would give me like $10,000-$11,000 for it. i kinda laughed at them.

good luck, eps are bad on resale. you might be able to get about 13k for it if you're lucky

Yup, I'm thinking you'll get something in the 13k area, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. IMO, the original prices for these cars were too high to begin with. If MSRP was around 17k, a la the EM Si, getting 13k for it wouldn't seem AS bad, considering it's not as hot as the EM was.

well, the day i got my 90+ in a 45 speeding ticket, I was convinced that I would have to sell my car so I took it to carmax to see what they would offer. Condition is excellent, and the mileage was 18,000. Their offer was $14k flat, even if I didn't buy a car from them. I was kinda impressed with it, I was expecting about 1-2,000 less from them.

yeah, Carmax has always made great offers to buy cars. they must make a killing on the resale and wholesaling of the cars they buy. i had a 98 Sentra with some pretty nasty damage to the left rear quarter panel and about 80K miles. i got nearly $2K from them when i expected only about $1K.

yeah carmax gave rick77f, 14k for his with like 7k miles on his. it also varies by area. some areas get a lil more than others

I tried to trade mine in last weekend and they offered me around 12K and thats a 02 Si with 9800miles on it in good condition. Since you have a little more miles on it you might be lucky if you get 11K for it. Its funny I bought the si thinking it would be worth 12K three years down the road like the 00 si, but its worth less only a year old. I wonder how much more these cars will deprecate in value

I think you would be pleasantly surpsized that your Si will be worth about $11-12K by 2005. Most cars depriciate the most in the first and second year. If you keep your miles low, a 2002 Si with 15K in 2005 will be worth about $12K. That is if Honda stopped EP3 production with 2004 model and never brings CTR. Availability of CTR MAY lower resale. However, availability of ITR dod not affect resale of Integra GS-R, sine ITR was a limited o a few thousand and was priced above what most people would pay for a glorified Civic.
