I was wondering who here has the lightest rims. And how much where they? The stocks are to heavy.... how much where they?

My bad i didn't see 'wheels' under the suspension section.

Volks are the lightest.

Saying Volks are the "lightest" is relative (to size, width, etc).

There was a guy on honda-tech selling these "Speedmaster" wheels.
15", 4bolt and a ridiculous 10.something pounds. I might pick a set
up at some point (I'm fine with the stockers, just wish I had better
tires, really).

I've had 14" volks that were 6.8 lbs on an old civic. They would technically fit an EP I suppose.

SSR comp's are the lightest

But for the price, I'd go with Rota's. They have a pretty good selection and they are all light. Depending on size of course.

THE lightest rim I'm pretty sure is the Volk TE37 Mag. It's a few pounds lighter than the regular TE37. I can't think of any road worthy rim that is lighter. There are lighter auto-x and drag rims, but they are not suited to street use. Are the TE37 Mags cheap? Nope! But they're light.

Sorry Bud, SSRs aren't even close, not to mention being very weak. Check out CE28Ns, TE37Mags, CP035Rs, etc.

Da ultimate in lightness??
The origninal JDM goodness wheels

I used to sell these. The wheels actually weigh in at less than the posted 8.55 pounds. Now if you've got about $380-425 a wheel to blow then this is the way to go.

www.wheelweights.net is a decent database of most wheels, aftermarket and OEM.

Sorry, but Spoons (actually Regamasters) aren't the lightest either. They look incredible though and are very strong.

That table is impressive. The lightest 17 I could find on the table was the centerline RPM @13.8 lbs. There are a couple of 15s under 10. As a company all of the Volks in the table are relatively light.

Let me throw this in there.
How about the lightest wheels that fit the ep without having a 5 lug conversion. The Volks are awesome, but after a quick look at their website most of their wheels (including the TE37) only come in a 5 hole version.:D

yep. I've got bronze 17" and they weigh in at 16.6 lbs. The 15"s and 16"s are tons lighter. Rotas are good and affordable. Tenzo Sinkos in 15s are light. A-tech final speeds in 15" are like 12lbs.

I have 15" Konig Heliums and they are great for their price ... claimed weight is 10.7 lbs. Too bad they didn't come in 16" :)

A friend has 16" TE37s and they weigh less than my 15"s ... amazing rims.
