I don't think that store has a website, when I go by, I'll take a look and see how much the mofo actually costs.

That shop also has the Mugen pedals which go for $269 cdn!! The really crazy thing is he has 3 sets of Automatic Mugen pedals for the same price!!!

I think you're going to have to wait a bit till places here start getting it and updating their sites. Give it a month and check again.

Yeah I just noticed this at aj-racing under the spoon news:

November 7, 2003
Spoon AT shift knob, titanium shift knob, and new style racing mirror coming soon! Also coming, new TSX parts, including strut bars. Check back soon!

So i guess they are getting it within the next month or two.

I touched that spoon shift knob at AJ-Racing on thursday, and DAMN!!! that sucker is like paper light, its crazy. They just got a ton of them in and are shipping them to your local spoon dealers. If you like the look and want to save on the weight, get that knob. Ill get a price right now.

Are there spoon dealers other than those on the aj-racing site? None of them are close to Charlotte NC and i think it will take everyone a while to update their sites. Thanks fot the info, do you think it would make a nice knob in an EP?

why would u want a light shift knob? isnt a heavier one better for our car?

Its more of a preference. I went to a light weight shift knob (Buddy Club) and noticed it was nicer to shift. That was me though.

That thing looks pretty sexy. I got the Skunk2 and it heavy and I believe it made my shifting better, but then agian that's just me.

I took off my skunk2 knob and noticed the shifts don't feel as accurate but definatly feels like you can shift faster. I would say a lighter shift knob is better than heavy. I think it's just a marketing scam but that's just me.

Speedstar sells them for 129 + Tax.

EDIT: ^^ that's CAD

I didn't like it at 1st glace either but the looks grows on you after awhile. It's so light though. If you like it weightless then you have to get one. But if not then SKunk2 it down.

I like! How cheap can I get a genuine type r shift knob? If the Spoon is cheaper, I'll get the spoon.

Congrats man, I got one for Xmas also along with a ctr boot so my setup looks a lot like yours except i used some tape to make the chrome ring on the boot sit up to the knob. I really like the light weight and feel of a metal knob over the leather stock one, it shifts great.

Don't really like the look of it and it's like $180. I'll stick to the classic Duracon. As for the weight savings, if it's that important, don't carry a pack of smokes in your car and that should equal it out.
