Has anyone tried to gut the resonator?

like the title says...
has anyone tried to gut it out and make it hollow?
or at least get rid of the internal boba straw?
is any of it easily ripped out?

I just replaced mine with a 70 dollar midpipe.

You talking about the resonator on the air box, or the resonator before the muffler. If it is the muffler, do a search and you will find your answers :D
