i thought it was easy to put them on, but looks like im going to have to drill holes on the bottom and put some double sided tape were the clips go (like mugen ep).

I would love to see some step by step install pics if you're going to install them yourself. I have purchased side skirts but now I don't have the money to have them painted and installed and I'm not confident enough to do it myself. How much should I expect to be charged to have someone else do it? I've been quoted $300 as of yet.

What's adheisive promotor, what does it do, sorry if this is a stupid question.

Te adhesive promoter is used to help stick the tape to the body of the car and the side skirt. Works kinda like glue and when used with the double stick tape it is an awesome combination.

So really it does exactly what it is called. It helps promote the adhesive.;)

thanx. helped out a little bit. are these JDM skirts? because i thought there was suppose to be a couple screws here that go into the existing holes?

love the wheels, wher did you get them? Also did you only use the 3M tape and nothing else. or did you use any clips on the two sets of double holes on the bottom of the skirts? I heard that there are plastic stabilizers that bolt to the body, that use those holes.

since when were they making painted oem skirts for the si, thought the us spec type r lipkit by ss just came out a few days ago??? and whats the dilly on the screws??? so the place you got the skirts from made oem skirts??? the jdm have no screws at all while the oem ones does?? sorry, i just thought there was no real difference bw oem skirts and the jdm ones apart from color. im confused:confused:

he has oem JDM side skirts. they come with "notches" that go into the body which type Rs have, hence those who want them can either cut off the notches and use automotive grade tape, or drill the body and use the clips on the skirts themselves.

the oem JDM skirts come painted
