As some of you know, there was a Honda Civic Si Challenge. Meaning, who can build the baddest all around EP between, Greddy, HKS, Signal and Skunk2. If you didnt know anything about it, dont worry, you will. It will be coming out in the SuperStreet mag. in stores near you soon.
Well, I had a meeting with Kenji today over at Greddy and the winner was there.Here are some pics of her I took while I was there.

Aftermarket pistons and rods and the Greddy turbo kit, thats it.

i really like the paint on the hood :) it's like the stripes on the old school corvettes. follows the body lines perfectly. very nicely done :) i'll need to pick up that issue :)

I wonder what that steel braided line running back into the intake is.

air vent back into the intake from the charge pipes or nitrous? hmm.

Looks like a 5th injector, good catch.

Just pistons and rods, I'm sure. :)

and their turbo kit doesnt come with an intercooler so I wonder which one they are using for their car. Also I'm sure this car wont pass emissions and thats the reason why most people buy the Greddy kit.

1)They have an IC, it just hasnt been released, so they are using a Greddy IC.
2)Negative sir, couple days ago, someone posted up that they saw a couple of racing SIs in the Torrance area getting smogged. You know what they were doing?Yep, getting smogged. Did the Greddy kit pass the sniffer?, YES.

I bet it won't dyno at 350 AND pass smog though. Especially with a 5th injector.

That line is an extra injector line.
The car had to be under SS and Honda rules and the car was inspected by then aswell. Which nitrous was not allowed in the event.

You are across the US, or else I would take you up for that bet.
Visiually it wont, but sniffer, it did.
It was an event, judges where present, they couldnt cheat.
Greddy doesnt give info that is false when it comes to psi and hp to make their product sound better.***EDIT***.

I would almost be certain that they would have to use the A2. Maybe I'm way off base but I don't think that the A3 would be able not only to put out 350...nor do I think it would be able to handle all that boost.

The A3 could DEFINITELY handle 350hp. Just upgrade the internals and you're good.

Congrats to Greddy. It looks like a sweet ride. It is good to see they are spending time with the EP3. That means better technology and more power for EP3 owners.

It reminded me a little of the old preludes and crx. I thought they looked cool in yellow. Although that yellow /gold color for the 02 Si did not seem right to me.

well if nasty stickers/graphics, and mismatched colors is not ricey then i guess im wrong :(, all it needs is a 40 foot tall alumnium wing now
