I got a look at this car last week. It has everything: K20A motor, $5k worth of wheels and tires, Porsche brake conversion, full Type R body kit. It's blue BTW. The guy that did it had too much money to spend and overpaid for everything. He has spent at least $40K on this car. It's at a Honda dealer in Winston-Salem, NC and I am told they are asking $20,000.00 for it. If you are in the market, you could have the baddest EP around for the price of a base RSX.

I have no financial interest in the sale of this car but If anyone is interested, I know who to call to hook you up.

OK, I will be near that dealer in about a week. If it is still there I'll try to remember to bring my camera and snap some pics.

give the guy a break, he is just fyi'ing for all of us. It's not like he had a digi on hand. I dont know about you guys but I dont roll with my digital camera all the time.

I might have to take a little drive and go see this thing :P...I used to live in Winston, and it's only about 1.5hours from Duke. Is it at Flow Honda on Peters Creek?

....enecks maybe we can role together :D I live in VA but I am in Durham all the time, rarely ever see another EP when I'm in town. If you ever see a VBP EP with gold subzeroes it's me;)

I'm going to give the car, at stock, an extremely conservative price at 12k. Now plus 40k have mods that is 52k worth of ep power. The question is begging to be asked. Why would one sell it for 20k? why would someone put 40k into a car just to lose 20k of it? I'm no financial advisor but he might have done better with a mutual fund.

i live in lexington and will drive to w-s to see the car today.isn't flow the only honda dealer in w-s?if you ask me it's b-s.i told S800 that we could get up sometime and race, and he never replied.check the southeast forum.if he has the swap he should jump at the chance to race me.or even come to a meet in charlotte.but anyway i will call flow and see if they have one.if so i'll take a digi and get some pics.S800 my offer still stands you can come hang out with the rest of us.i'll be helping master7 w/motor mounts today.you can come down if you want.

Some of you all kill of me on here. I believe the guy if he saw the car and just because he didnt have his digi cam with him doesn't mean he's lying. I don't even have a digital cam. I live in northeast tn so I might be willing to take a sunday drive and see the blue ep.

Jered: Thank you. I can only tell you all what I saw and what I was told. I saw: full type-R body kit, nice wheels & tires, lowered, brake conversion, K20A motor. I was told: he spent $10K for the motor alone PLUS installation. I KNOW that is outrageous. If I found a pigeon like that I would love to hook him up with a K20A motor and make about $6K buying and installing it for him. Why is it selling for $20K (if that is accurate)? The guy obviously has so much money that $20K doesn't mean much to him.

Makes me wonder if I should bother to post anything of interest when I get all this hate for not posting pics. If I get by there with my camera I don't mind taking pics and posting but I don't have a lot of free time for that kind of stuff.

bc2k20a3: First, I never saw your post about racing you. Second, I don't street race. Right now, I think you would probably kick my ass anyway. The car badly needs Hondata for the A2 to be happy with the 5spd. Hope we can get together at some point to compare rides.

Are we not allowed to question what people post? Does everyone in this forum have to take what people post at face value? I didn't flame you, I never said you were lying, all i did was question whether people thought the price was for real. I for one hope its true, I would but it in a heartbeat.

Where is the hate? Just because people are questioning the validity doesn't mean there is hate. I for one never said anything about a pictures, and even if you did post pictures i would still question the price. I did not say anyone was lying. I merely asked an extremely obvious question. I agree that people do loose money when they mod their car and sell it. But come on guys 20G's. I know i'm not the only one that is thinking this. I'm just the only one that has the balls to question it.

I won't have my Digicam until Tues. (Wife has it on vacation) and on full time child care duty until then so I won't likely have time to meet anyone at Flow this weekend.

If anyone is seriously interested in the car, send me an e-mail. I have a contact at Flow Honda that might help get past some sales BS. No promises/guarantees and I have no idea if they knew what they were talking about when they told me $20K.

no body needs to hate on him i talked to the dealership and found out that they do have it there.they said they already sold it and i told them i would be up there to take pics today.they told me that the guy who traded it in has had a s2000 all mugened out and evreything from boxters to the si.S800 i'll back you on this one.good find just a little late.

I don't think there ar $40K in mods, I meant $40K including the price of a new EP + mods. Even that might be a stretch but the way they tell it, the guy spent $40K on it.

Did they tell what the selling price was?

i rather buy a stock ep and mod it myself... most of the fun in modding i think is looking for the parts and determining what look hot on the car

Good question. I caught myself wondering if I should have bought that EP - K20A, full Type R body. It's got to be just about the baddest NA EP around. But it's not exactly the way I would have done it. It might not be as practical as I would like - too low and too stiff for comfort. I'd be thinking about making changes as soon as I got it home!

So I'm with Bicho6 on this one. I'd rather mod it myself.

Now, I might should have bought the car and resold it to make a profit. Did anyone find out what the selling price was?

the pics were taken in the afternoon, but if you notice it was in the service dept. one of the guys told me it was sold for 25,000,but the guy in service didn't think it was sold.i don't see them making the price outrageous its a none stock si.
