i have a k24 in my garage i picked it up at a local junkyard for about $900 but i don't have any knowledge on how to install it or wat i need to get the car started w/ the motor i don't want to do a hybrid. another question is would i be using my own ecu and if so should i get hondata thanx in advance...

wow, first an a2, and now a 24? i know who i am going to go to when i need a swap. good deal on the 24. and to answer your question, you will need a different ecu for the motor.

I *think* there's someone on here that has swapped in a K24 (I know
B18CXr is on here, but he mainly posts at honda-tech.com, which is
where you should go do some reading up). As I just mentioned (this
post is ridiculously repetitive, i'm a moron :p ), head over to
honda-tech.com. There's a couple guys that have done this swap there
and you might be able to call/IM them for more info.
