If so, where did you buy it from, and did you have to get it professionally installed?

Use the search link in the upper right. Type in "magnaflow" and you'll
find a ton of info on this subject.

Consensus: Magnaflow is one of the best exhaust for the EP3, performance wise. Several have said it's loud at first, but quiets over
time. Most ordered it via eBay. Any catback exhaust shouldn't be a
difficult install, even if you aren't mechanically inclined. It would
take someone with a lift less than an hour to do it.

Sorry, I know I should have used search first. But I was just wondering if the dual tip exhaust was a direct fit or if I had to go to a muffler shop to get it installed.

CLICK ME (http://www.hottexhaust.com)

322$ at that site

As for install, I think it is direct fit... Should be able to do it yourself...

Sorry for being so difficult, is the one you're talking about include the dual tip? Cuz its pictured as a single tip.

if you win the bid on ebay for $275 (which you pretty much will) shipping is $30. so all in all its $305.

Just 5 bolts, 1 clamp and a couple of hangers. There's not much to it. Personally, I think it's too loud.

oh yeah? damn, I guess this is off my list....It seems like the greddy is the most quiet exhaust there is.

How long have you had the exhaust on? I almost took it off after I first put it on, it was way too loud for my tastes. The exhaust has honestly gotten much much quieter for me. No one even looks at my car when I'm driving by. It's louder than stock, but it's not very loud.

^^I got it used from Wooman on this board. He had it for about 1 month and I've had it for maybe 3 weeks. It's still just as loud as it was the first day I installed it. How long did it take for yours to quiet down. I'm tempted to take off the muffler and put the stock one on with the magnaflow midpipe. I wonder if that'll work.

that actually might work...you may want to get some red rtv sealant to help seal the gasket up in case it doesn't fit snug

This exhaust has no problems passing smog right?

A catback exhaust doesn't modify your emissions.

I have the Magnaflow exhaust..its not loud in the sense when you riding people looking at you like WTF!!???, It does seem a little loud on the inside at first..i wont lie! once you get in 5th gear its just a nice tone. (no fart can sound!!!!, for sure) And its sounds real sweet to me downshifting.

To me you need to try things out for yr self. Cause what may be loud to the next man , might not be loud to you.

And you will feel the performance difference.

Keep in mind this complete CAtBAck system is just 275, so if you want to pay doulbe for an almost mute sounding exhaust with about the same gains, go ahead!

The beauty of the exhause is partly the sound!!! and the Mangaflow is better looking to me with the twin chrome OEM tip look. it just sparkles......!! Thats just my $ 305 shipped to my door opinion
Eitherway,, rep that SI!!!! PEACE.......
