I know it would very by use and all, just curious round-a-bout.

I just noticed mine does a little light squeak now and then right before the car rolls to a stop, not all the time though. Its not loud. EP has...hmm...about 13,800 miles

I have 13,500 on my car and it does the same thing on occasion. Just turn up the music louder and you dont hear it

Really so you dont think they should be worn down? What else would cause it?

brake squeal is not always an indicator of brake wear. If that were the case, my brake pads would have been "worn out" the day i put them on.

my stock pads lasted about 30k miles under heavy usage.

as for the squeal, it's more than likely coming from the shims vibrating. Just visually inspect the pads and make sure there is decent pad material left.

My pads were done as of 16,500 mi, with scared rotors as a bonus:(

I picked up some new pads and resurfaced my rotors, so all is well. :D

I had mine at 80% at the 10,000 mile mark.

And I brake hard and don't engine brake. Brake pads=Cheap, Tranny=Not Cheap.

I want some better pads, something low dust but still more grippy and fade reisistant than stock.

If I can't get no dust, I'll just be cleaning alot....

yeah, I'm at about the same mileage and my pads are getting worn...the rotors need to be resurfaced also.

Ok, thanks everyone :D

I'll have one of my little brothers check out the the pads. They are the mechanically inclined ones LOL :)

If they were wearing out though, wouldnt the squeal be kinda loud?
When it happens its pretty quiet.

When i first pull out of the garage and make a complete stop mine squeal but after that they are just fine.

And BTW, I didn't know that I was a location.
