Even though we probably have about 400 members on here with an EP Hatch, that is probably just a low percentage of actual EP owners. Not everyone likes to talk about their cars online. We did have some BC members, maybe it was one of them, guess one never knows.

Yea, racing is stupid; seriously. I've been an almost-victim a few times by dumb asses racing. I wasn't doing anything but minding my own business and almost got creamed.

LAME--very lame.

It's not like they people who race REALLY think they are going to kill someone--that's the problem. Everyone knows accidents happen, they just think it's to "other people" and they are too smart or "good" to get in a wreck.

It's just a matter of luck, time, and the degree of stupidity which determines if/when someone will wreck. Mostly luck and time... but you have to be at least a little stupid to race in the first place, because people *think* they are in control of thier cars, but they are not.

because they were. It's making national news here in Canada, plus I was watching the local news in BC. They announced the names of the 2 that were charged and they were both asian descent. the driver fled the scene and his buddy picked him up. they were both charged

ahh comments noted but I stated their race because everyone wanted to know who they were and if they were members here.
obviously it was a person, but they happened to be 2 asians.
i could narrow it down more and specify their ethnic background?

I did a thorough search through our members and none of them turned up with a White SiR in British Columbia. So I'm pretty sure this individual was not registered on ephatch.
