I have 45 offset slipstreams with 225/45/16 es 100s...with a 1" Prokit Drop, that probably has settled to a ~1.25" drop. I have no rubbing. You might rub with the 40's though.

please post a picture of your car! thanks.

Also where were you able to purchase the 45 mm offset slipstreams?

I'd heartily recommend www.machiii.net Best customer service I've received in a while.

I don't have great pics but here's some:

Oh BTW, what is/what will be your suspension setup?

i am thinking i am going to leave it stock for as long as i can...if i lower it, it will defeat the reason for buying this car :)

i'll probably just do the rear type R sway and the front big brake kit.

Thanks for the info!

Hmm, if you're staying with the stock suspension, you could prob. go with the 40s, and have a wider track. However if you plan to go a little lower later on, the 45s might be the better choice..as you wouldn't have to roll your fenders.

EDIT: I'm not too knowledgeable of when/where rubbing will start, but if you're staying stock, don't worry about offset.
