I need to get an intake for my car and i don't know what to go with. I will be driving my Si in rain so i don't want to worry about hydrolocking my engine, and i also will be going to shows so i want it to look nice. What would be the best for me? Thanks.

Well if you're worried about hydrolock than you answered your own question....SRI over CAI

btw Hydrolock is rare, personally I only know a couple of people who have gotten it. But you mite have worse rain were you're from

Well, if you want a pretty intake with no risk of hydrolocking, go for the AEM V2

I'll recommend the K&N Typhoon. Its an SRI and I have had no complaints about it.

Also, where does the injen CAI filter end up? In pictures i see it go behind the battery, but does it end up behind the headlight or so? Anyone have pictures?

On another note, the Injen CAI is great. I live in New England and it's seen plenty of the elements with no problems. Like 02SilverSiHB said, it sits a tad lower than the headlight. the filter actually sits inside the bumper pocket. It's pretty well enclosed and you would probably have to be sitting in a puddle up past the front bumper light to hydrolock.

i'd say one of these two. i've got the aem sri and it looks nice and sounds nice. Both injen and aem are good.

AEM is restructuring the database for the info that we upload to the website. Unfortunately some of the dynographs were lost from that database. The current graphs will stay on the site, but no changes will be made until that situation is resolved. Hard copies of all the dynographs are at AEM World Headquarters :) so once the website update is completed the dynographs will be back online for all to view.

We Need to make a poll of what we all think is the best intake, header, etc, and then post the results as a sticky, we've anwsered this question like 90 times this year,

Injen CAI hands down.
