This is not an official group buy, I'm just trying to check interest. I don't work for the company selling these, I just started emailing them today.

The product is the Plasma Direct coils from Ignition Solutions. Here's a link to their product info:

Here's a couple of links from clubrsx and is300.net. The Mustang guys really like them as well.

They charge about $600 for new, modified coils (doesn't seem worth it compared to other stuff available) and $275 to modify your existing coils (not bad). If we could get a handful of people together, they're interested in doing a group buy.

I don't have any pricing info yet, but hopefully it will be around $225 which should be a pretty nice mod.

Anyway, just post if anyone has any direct experience with them, if it's a good idea, bad idea, etc. Peace.

I might be interested,. I'd e-mailed them months ago but they never got back to me via e-mail so I gave up. Still seems like a lot of money for a 2-3whp. Let us know what (if anything) you find out.

I agree about the gains, but they appear to be throughout the entire RPM range. Sounds a lot like the gains that you get from a Hondata (except for the higher redline) that everyone talks about but doesn't really show up as huge gains on the dyno.

I think that I'm going to hold off on a K20A or A2, so I'm looking for little things that will help. My ECU goes off to Hondata on Wednesday.
