Mobile Multimedia

I know several people have Multimedia setups in their cars, I'm debating on a setup also, I'm thinking Alpine IVA-D900 or Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD other possibilities are there I'm just wondering what has been done and how you guys liked the results.

Poor/cheap man's route:
$40 power inverter
$40 Apex home DVD player
$50 5" LCD screen

That's what I have in my car. The LCD screen I got came from a PSOne
and it's not hard mounted/wired into the stereo system, I'm still
working on that. But, I can successfully watch DVDs in the car (Super
Troopers is great on a road trip ;) ) and am doing it for under $150,
which is a lot cheaper than any in-dash setup...

I just got the Sony 7" tv becuase i got a hella deal on it. I paid 700.00 for the brand new tv, 10 disk sony cd change and ps2!
